The parts holding the shell together are made of that same polymer, which is also used in handgun manufacturing. The shell is mounted to the backer at a single point, so the holster will mold more reliably to the body. Control the passive retention with a custom, included retention bar for a tighter or looser draw. The cant on the holster may be adjusted for the preferred angle, depending on where it's placed inside the waistband. As a modular system, the backer may be uninstalled without tools and the shell can be transitioned into any of the other available ShapeShift holster configurations.
