14 EXPLICATIONS AVEC DES ILLUSTRATIONS ORIGINALES DES CHANSONS LES PLUS EMBLÉMATIQUES DE THIÉFAINE. En 2016, nous avons proposé un premier recueil d'explorations de l'oeuvre d'Hubert-Félix Thiéfaine intitulé « Thiéfaine, poésie souterraine », publié chez RKI Press. Ce livre était composé d'analyses portant sur divers aspects de l'oeuvre en général, parmi lesquels on trouvait : les figures de femme, l'humour et l'ironie, la présence de la mort dans les textes, la question du public, ainsi que quelques autres. C'était alors le premier ouvrage à envisager sous l'angle d'une critique « savante » - il a été écrit par des chercheurs issus pour la plupart du monde universitaire - l'oeuvre du chanteur et son apport spécifique à la poésie française. Pour compléter ce premier ouvrage, il nous a semblé qu'il restait cependant à porter l'enquête directement sur les textes eux-mêmes, en les envisageant non plus cette fois dans l'ensemble biographique, thématique ou sociologique de l'oeuvre tout entière, mais en les étudiant pour eux-mêmes, dans l'unité de sens que chaque chanson-poème constitue. C'est donc ce que nous proposons de faire ici, en analysant les paroles d'une quinzaine de chansons emblématiques du chanteur, de façon à entrer dans le détail de ces textes qui ont marqué la carrière de Thiéfaine.
